  I am 10 weeks post op and could not be happier with my results. After lots of research to try to pick a doc (which is hard because they all have such a mix of positive and negative reviews online) I found out that a friend of a friend had had surgery with Dr Mooney. And he had been recommended by a friend. Both were very happy with their results and after speaking to them, reassured by their recommendations I decided to give Dr Mooney's office a call. From the first phone call the team were so friendly and helpful. Emily the patient coordinator spent nearly 30 minutes on the phone to me that first day, patiently answering all of my questions. I got a cancellation appointment the next day and have never looked back. All of the staff at the surgery are incredibly helpful, and happy to share their own experiences with Dr Mooney. The thing I liked the most about Dr Mooney was that he was so honest in my first consultation about what could be achieved and helps you to set realistic expectations. I felt straight away after the first appointment that I had picked the right doctor. I was a little overwhelmed after the first appointment so requested to go back and look at the pictures again with the doctor and it was arranged no problem. The aftercare I received was excellent. And the recovery was much better than I expected. After Week 1 when the cast came off I could see that I would be happy with the shape, but it looked pretty swollen so naturally you have a few days of worry and angst and what have I done moments. But my expectations had been set over and over that that would be the case so I was patient. Gradually over the weeks the swelling came down further and further - I was delighted with the result by the end of week 3. I am honestly so happy with the result. I used to have a hump and flared nostrils and now have a neat, straight nose, no hump! It's so natural and perfectly suits my face. Looks like the nose I should have been born with. I cannot rate Dr Mooney and his staff highly enough and would recommend him to anyone considering rhinoplasty.
